Happy Birthday to my Mom. I can't think of anyone who has had a bigger impact on my life. She sacrificed her whole life to raise us and serve our family, and now that we have all grown up and moved out she is now working at a school for severely autistic kids. That is crazy! Any normal person would say, I've done enough its time to rest...but no, my Mom still wants to make an impact on people's lives. Often she will come home telling me about how she has such a burden for one of the kids in the classroom, how she wants to see them grow and mature, and how her heart breaks for their condition. She carries people on her heart in a special way that is very rare.
Mom, I want you to know that your heart for prayer, your heart for people and your heart to love and serve Jesus has been something that I have seen from a very young age and I pray that my life has even half of the impact that your life has already. I love you so much, and appreciate so many things about you. What a gift you are to me, and I know to so many others. I hope this year is the best year yet, and that God shows His love for you in a way that He never has before. I know the impact you have had, and will have on eternity is going to be rewarded in heaven. I love you so much, and can't believe I get to call you my Mom. Happy Birthday!!!
